The Giroux Family
Suzanne, my husband Marc and our son Zachary
Introduction
Hi, everyone from my BU eCommerce class.
Welcome to my blog. Here you can find out more about me. I currently work for BD Biosciences as their e-Marketing Program Manager. I graduated with a B.S. in Biotechnology from UMass Lowell and wanted to become a research scientist. I was offered an internship at a pharmaceutical company in Cambridge during my sophomore year of college in their Information Technology department working on their scientist databases and building the company’s intranet site. I took this position with the thinking at least my foot is in the door and I can eventually float to the labs where my true interest lies. Much to my surprise, I loved my role in the Information Technology department and my experience at Vertex helped land me my first job out of college at a software company. After working for Corporate Software a couple of years an opportunity at BD opened up as a Web Production Coordinator. My dream job; working as a developer for a medical technology company, being able to marry my science background with my web experience. I felt and continue to feel very fortunate to have such an opportunity. I was recently promoted and relocated to the San Diego office, my home town where I grew up. It's great being back near family especially with Zach in our lives now. I am the oldest of 5 kids and my whole family lives out here in sunny California.

Bora Bora, Tahiti
Marc and I went to Tahiti for our honeymoon and "swam" into this lemon shark (over 10 feet in length). Let's just say that I couldn't get out of the water fast enough. Even though the locals had assured us that there had never been a shark attack in French Polynesia, my thinking, there is a first time for everything and I surely don’t want to be a statistic! I usually can last about 45-50 minutes underwater on one scuba tank and consumed my tank in about 30 minutes. Yes, I was terrified!

Hi Suzanne,
Great!
By the way, "Lemon Shark"...!
To be honest, this is my first time that I heard of.
Instead, I only know the only and the more common species like Great White Shark...
Thank you.
